TRVLOG TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Trvlog mobile application (the "App") provided by trvlog LLC ("trvlog," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using the App, you confirm you can form a binding contract with trvlog, are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country), and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE
Trvlog lets you create trips and itineraries, organize photos and videos into scrapbook-style photobooks, and share your travels through a social feed with following, likes, comments, direct messaging, and content sharing. The App uses third-party services, including Google Places. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. ACCOUNTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it current. You are responsible for the security of your account, for all activity under it, and for the content you create and share, including ensuring you have the rights to it.
4. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use the App to: post content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable; upload content you do not have the right to share or that violates another person's privacy or intellectual property; impersonate anyone; harass, bully, or spam others; access accounts or data that are not yours or circumvent access controls; interfere with or reverse engineer the App; scrape data by automated means; or use the App in violation of applicable law. We provide tools to block users and report content, and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
5. USER CONTENT AND OWNERSHIP
You retain ownership of the content you create ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant trvlog a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, to generate photobook layouts and previews), display, and distribute it solely to operate and provide the App, including displaying it to other users per the visibility you select. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content already shared with others or distributed via share links, and backups or de-identified data retained as permitted by law.
6. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PURCHASES
Trvlog may offer paid subscriptions and one-time in-app purchases in the future. Paid features are not enabled in this version of the App; there are no in-app purchases in this version. If paid features are enabled, applicable pricing, billing, renewal, and cancellation terms will be presented at the point of purchase and billed through Apple's in-app purchase system, and subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your App Store account settings.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App relies on third-party services (for example, Google Places, email delivery, push notification services, and hosting). Your use of those features may be subject to the third parties' own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services or content.
8. TERMINATION
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Account deletion is irreversible and removes your account and associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. DISCLAIMERS
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that place or photo data will be accurate or complete.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRVLOG AND ITS OWNERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
11. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless trvlog and its owners and service providers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your User Content, your use of the App, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time and will update the Effective Date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in North Carolina, except where prohibited by applicable law.
